Part of this training is online. You must access the three sites below and read the "Foundation Text" material for each before our class meeting. The "Foundation Text" is found on the button menu at the left of the screen for each chapter. Viewing any of the videos that are embedded in the text material of these chapters is optional.
You must also complete online training in research subjects protection. Use these links to get further information and access the training. For the Human Subjects Training, when taking the CITI course, you must take either the biomedical or social behavioral components of the training depending upon your research area. This training does not need to be completed before the workshop. We strongly suggest you complete within 30 days of the workshop.

When you have
complete all subjects protection training, send an email to Andrekia
Branch (aebranch@vcu.edu)
confirming the date of completion for the CITI and AALAS training.
If you complete the Responsible Conduct of Research internet instruction
(RCR-i2) short courses, please submit your answers to the
discussion question to Andrekia Branch (aebranch@vcu.edu).
You will then receive a certificate indicating your fulfillment of the
RCR training requirement for postdoctorals.
