Blackboard Instructions

We use Blackboard for functions that cannot be opened to public display. Go there to

• Register your cps "clicker."
• Take the extra-credit pre and post-tests.
• Check your current grades.
• Submit Observing Project reports.
• Participate in our online Astronomy Forum

• Select "GO TO BLACKBOARD" (below) to open a new browser window and select a button labeled "Login" to log on to Blackboard^TM. Your user name and password are the ones that you use for your VCU email account. This browser window, with these instructions, will remain open.

• Once you have logged on, you should find this course listed on the "Welcome" page under "My Courses". Select (2012Spring) ELEMENTARY ASTRONOMY and then the "Discussion Board" button.

• If your browser accepts cookies, you only need to log on the first time that you access the forum during a given session. After that, you will go directly to the "Welcome" page on Blackboard whenever you click on the "Login" button.

• Be sure to close each browser window (including this one) when you are done. The Astronomy course page that you came from is still open.
