W:  Work on finding topics
F:  Continue exploring topics, start thinking about research

Week 3

M:  Turn in paper proposals, discuss Gutkind 1-3 (reading response), look at research
W:  Discuss "Why Women Smile."  Take up Reading Responses
F:  Computer lab.  Intro to Blackboard.  Explain Annotated Bibliography assignment

M:  Continue with "Why Women Smile" and general discussion
W:  Catch-up day.  Research.  Discussion about Workshops and Research
F:  General talk about research, about pushing topics further.  Think of your topic as a question, rather than a statement.  What more are you trying to learn about it?  Why is it important.

M:  Workshop.  For Friday, type up your response to your peers' essays.  What did you contribute during Workshop?  How did you evaluate this early stage of their work?
