Images: The White Lizard
The white lizard makes an interesting little folktale. Just as
some Bajans believe that dead spirits can take the form of dogs howling through the night,
others believe that the white lizard foretells pregnancy. Whenever the white lizard
appears in a house, someone inside will soon become pregnant.
