Welcome to "Marshall Arts presents Romare Bearden." The purpose of this site is to provide a complete history of Romare Bearden, one of America's greatest contemporary artists. His art career has been conveniently offered in whole and in the separate stages when he used one particular form. I have also provided an excellent bibliography of his works, critiques and biographical information. Furthermore, there is a listing of links to sites that have current locations of where to view Bearden's exhibitions as well as links to many sites where one can purchase his works (both originals and more affordable copies).
