My name is Maalek Marshall (aka The Marshall Artist). I am currently a Graduate Student pursuing my MA in English at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
I produced this site for one of my classes at VCU: Professional Writing in Electronic Environments.
In putting together this site, I hope I have been able to offer a thorough overview of Romare Bearden's life and career. He was an exceptional artist and I only hope that this site helps to contribute to his great legacy.
