About the author: I am an MA literature candidate at Viginia Commonwealth University in Richmond concentrating in contemporary American Literature. I received a BA at Loyola Univerisity in New Orleans, LA. My undergraduate degree is in English, with a writing concentration. I also minored in Secondary Education and Women's Studies. I hope this site is useful for anyone studying Shirley Jackson. There has a been recent interest in her work as well as Gothic Literature and short fiction.
