With this site, I am hoping to provide a listing of books and articles by and about the English poet Larkin as well as offer insight into his poetics and politics. I have provided links to numerous sites which should prove very helpful in characterizing both the man and his writing. I've been studying Philip Larkin's poetry for five years. There's a sense of displacement and cynical wonder, but wonder nonetheless, in Larkin's writing that I find fascinating.  By reading his poetry and reading about his life, hopefully you will be able to gain a better sense of his poetics.
