In the end, I guess I feel a little disappointed, but that is my fault.   I simply made my goal too big.  To achieve what I wanted I would have had to do a great deal more research and be a much more skilled writer.  It's been alot of fun though.

Mary Shelley- Frankenstein (1994 Broadview Press Ltd, 1818 text)
Flannery O'Connor- Good Country People (from Flannery O'Connor: The Complete Stories, 1995 The Noonday Press, p 271-291)
Toni Morrison- Beloved (1987 Plume)
Jeanette Winterson- Sexing the Cherry (1989 Vintage International)
