Work on your site definition and description as described. Study the assigned readings for the class.

For February 2, prepare to make a five-minute information-packed presentation to the class about the mission of your site and its short- and long-term goals.

In your statement/presentation, demonstrate that you understand the big picture: your individual vision for the site, the materials/examples you've got to work with, and any possible restrictions. Be sure you cover answers to such questions as:

What are the short- and long-term goals?
Who are the intended audiences?
Why will people come to your site?
What types of tasks should users be able to perform?
What types of content should and should not be part of the site?
What are some of the subtopics or keywords or <meta> tags that seem most descriptive/useful to your plans at the moment?
