hazard description- toxic, harmful to unborn child, risk of impaired fertility, harmful by inhalation, if swallowed, danger of cumulative effects, danger of serious health damage with prolonged exposure

physical properties- yellow odorless powder

acute effects- irritant to skin, mucous membranes, & eyes

symptoms of overexposure- may cause abdominal paid, diarrhea, loss of appetite, metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, lassitude, insomnia, muscle weakness, joint & muscle pain, irritability, headache, & dizziness

red blood cells may be damaged (anemia)

may cause gastritis & injury to kidneys, liver, & central nervous system

caution- probable human carcinogen

* only use in fritted form (lead bi-silicate) not mono-silicate (soluable)
