About Me |

| I am currently a graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University,
working on my Masters of Arts in English Literature, and currently in a Professional
Writing class. Why am I writing a page about acting professionally, you ask? My bachelor's degree is in Theatre, with the concentration on Acting, from Florida State University, one of the country's top theater schools. I've been studying theater for about 8 years now, in various capacities and I am ready to take the next step. I graduate in May and am moving to Los Angeles promptly. I despise waitressing, thus the delay to get a higher degree. I've been teaching English 101 and 200 while in graduate school, and am hoping to get a job as an adjunct faculty member at a university or college in LA to support myself while I work at making contacts, getting my union status, an agent, and all those other things necessary to establish myself as a working member of the LA acting community.
